How we spend our summer days

There are 2 things that we have been doing a lot of this summer.
1. The first thing is going out on the boat with our friends.

2. The second thing is laying out at Barbara's baby pool. Yes - one of my friends has a baby pool that we hang out by many days. As you can see in the pictures - Ainsley loves it!

Dinner with the Keene Family

Josh has been working in Baytown remodeling a house for my Grandma. So, it has just been Ainsley and me. Last week, I decided to ride down to Baytown with my parents to surprise Josh. I think he liked it. While we were there, we had dinner at El Toro mexican resturant with the Keene family. It was so nice seeing baby Georgia. I hadn't seen her since I think Christmas. It is amazing how much babies change just over a few months.

Happy Birthday Josh

Josh turned 31 yesturday. We celebrated his birthday by going out on the boat and then going to eat at the Saltlick. Sorry - I didn't take any pictures on the boat. It was pretty crazy on the lake. Considering that it was Saturday the lake was very busy. So, we decided to pull the tube behind the boat most of the day. I wish I would have videoed the boys pulling each other on the tube. They were trying to throw each other off the entire time. Dinner was nice. We had a good turn out of about 20 people. It was nice socializing and the food was delicious.

Happy Birthday Stephanie

June 9 was Stephanie's birthday. We had a nice day on Canyon lake and then we went to Trudys for dinner. The lake was perfect. It was a Tuesday so we pretty much had the entire lake to ourselves. It was smooth and nice for skiing. Dinner was good too. We had mexican food and birthday cake for dessert. Happy birthday Stephanie!

Gymnastics

My mom and I took Ainsley to the gymnastics center last week. The gym is open for toddlers to play on the equipment every Monday morning. So we decided that we would try it out. As you can see in the pictures, there were lots of cool things for Ainsley to do. I think our favorite thing to do was the pit full of styrofoam cubes. Kids were jumping into the pit like it was a pool of water. Ainsley also liked the wedge. She climbed up and down it several times. What can I say . . . it was something different and interesting to do.

Boating

Recently, we have been going out on the boat a lot with our friends and family. For those of you who don't know, Josh and his brothers have a boat. Everytime we go out, we enjoy ourselves. Check out the videos of Josh wakeboarding and skiing.

Swimming

We have been going to Harry and Stephanie's new neighboorhood pool to swim. The pool is very nice with a lazy river and baby pool. Since the pool is in New Braunfels, we have been packing our lunch and making a day of it. As you can tell in the pictures Ainsley has been having a lot of fun swimming. When we first put her in the water, she cries a little and then she starts to relax and enjoy it more. I'm sorry the pictures are turned the wrong way - I got a new camera and I can't figure out how to turn them the correct way.

Playing Outside

I always try to think of something interesting to blog about so I decided to blog about Ainsley playing outside. I have been so busy these last couple of weeks with school ending that I decided to blog about something that most people don't know we do each day. Every night after dinner, Josh and I take Ainsley and the dogs on a walk. When we return back to the house, we let Ainsley play in the front yard. She usually walks around and picks up sticks while harassing the cats. As you can tell in the video, she is growing up fast.
