Temper Tantrums

Ainsley isn't even two yet! I have heard of terrible twos but I think it should also be called terrible ones. Ainsley has gotten where she throws a fit if she doesn't get her way. You will see in the video her throwing a fit after I take a pen away from her. Once I give it back, then she is happy again. My mom thinks she has Uncle Stewart in her.

The Jumpy Place

We have been taking Ainsley to a place called The Jumpy Place. It is like an inside play house. There are huge moonwalks and toys for the toddlers to play with. We usually meet Jana and Daniel with their kids - Bryce and Lilly. The kids have a blast and the grown ups have fun sitting around talking. We have already been twice, but I think we will start to go more often.

Ponytail

Ainsley's hair is finally long enough to put it in a ponytail. I have been putting it in a ponytail everyday, and she likes it. She grabs her ponytail with her hand and smiles. As you can see in the pictures, she likes to touch it. Having a little girl is so much fun!

Las Vegas

Josh and I went to Vegas last week. We wanted to get away for a few days, and we had heard so much about Vegas that we decided to go. We had 3 days jam packed full of sight seeing. We walked to strip and went into many of the hotels and the M&M world. We went to two shows: blue man group and Love. We enjoyed both of them. On the final day, we went to hoover dam. If you haven't been to hoover dam it is amazing. We stayed at a very nice hotel called Mandalay Bay. There were 7 swimming pools including a wave pool and a lazy river. At night, we also saw the dancing lights at the Bellagio and the Volcano erupt at the Mirage. We gambled a little, but we didn't win anything. I have to say I am officially addicted to Blackjack though.

Austin Children's Museum

During the summertime, I am always looking for things that Ainsley and I can enjoy together. Now that she is older than she was last summer there are more things for us to do. Some of the things that we have been doing are mommy and me swimming lessons, storytimes at the libraries, mommy and me yoga, toddler gymastics and Austin Children's Museum. Every Monday the Austin Children's Museum has a Baby Bloomers day. There are activites throughout the morning that are age appropriate for Ainsley. As you can see in the pictures, Ainsley loved the parachute. This week Stephanie went with us. It was nice having someone to help me with Ainsley. I think we all plan on going back again soon.

Fourth of July

We had a blast on the fourth of July. We started the day by going to Daniel and Jana's swimming pool. Then we came home and had fajitas for dinner with Mee Maw. Finally, we went to see the fireworks in Kyle. Ainsley enjoyed playing with her cousins all day.

15 Months Old

Today Ainsley is 15 months old. What can I say? Isn't she cute!
