Back to Daycare

Ainsley started back in daycare last Monday. It is that time of the year where summer vacation is over and I go back to work. Luckily, Ainsley has the same teachers as last year - Mrs. Mary and Mrs. Betty. She is still in the infant room but for only about another 5 weeks. When Ainsley turns 18 months on October 1, they will transition her into the toddler room. I am looking forward to her going to the toddler room. There are tables and chairs instead of high chairs and cots instead of cribs. I think it will be good for her. When the time comes, I will let you know how she does. I am sure it will be interesting.

Lindsay's Bridal Shower

My good friend, Lindsay, is getting married. Her wedding will be October 10 in Abilene. She is marrying a great guy named T.J. I went to her bridal shower last weekend. It was very nice with a mexican lunch and lots of gifts. I enjoyed talking to old friends and as always I enjoyed seeing Lindsay. Congratulations Lindsay!

Ainsley's First Cruise

We have been so lucky this summer. We have gone on three different vacations. Last week we went on our last vacation - a cruise. We love cruising! This time we took Ainsley and she had a blast. We would take her again. She walked the ship and socialized with all of the people, went swimming in the pool and ate lots of food with us. I have to say she is now an official cruiser.

New Braunfels Vacation

Most of you know that every year we go to New Braunfels the last week in July with the Clark family. This year everyone in the family got to come. We played in the river and pool, played spades and chicken foot and ate lots of sweets. Since the babies were a little older this year, it was fun seeing them together.
