Weekend Fun

We have had a great weekend! We started the weekend, by going to the Comal County Fair and Rodeo with Harry, Stephanie and Barbara. It was Barbara's birthday, so we were celebrating! The rodeo was a lot of fun. I didn't feel like I wanted to go because I was tired after work, but I was sure happy I went because it was a blast! Ainsley liked to rodeo too. She sat and watched it the entire time. She called everything a doggie - but what's new! Sorry I forgot my camera Friday night.

On Saturday, we tailgated before the Texas State game with Stewart, Rachel and my Mom and Dad. We had hotdogs, hamburgers, and chicken. It was delicious and a fun way to spent out Saturday before the game. At the game, Texas State won! Ainsley and I shared a snowcone - she loves snowcones. Before the game, Ainsley rode around in the golf cart with Grandma - see the picture below. Isn't she cute in her little Texas State oufit?

On Sunday, Uncle Stewart hung out with us most of the day. I got a picture of him and Ainsley together. It is now Sunday afternoon and we are heading to Blanco to have steaks with the family.

Sunday Guests

Today we had lots of visitors. Everyone was excited to come see Ainsley. First, Pops (Josh's Dad) came over to see Ainsley. Ainsley loved him coming over. She ran right up to him and gave him a big hug. I wish I would have thought to get a picture of Pops and Ainsley. Sorry Pops! Later on in the day Grandma and Grandpa came over to see Ainsley. As you can see in the picture, she is still playing with the shopping cart. Then, our friends Harry, Stephanie and Barbara came over for dinner. We are so blessed to have family and friends that care so much about us.

The Shopping Cart

Ainsley has a new favorite toy - the shopping cart! Josh put it together a few months ago and she wasn't very interested in it. Now, she loves it! It keeps her busy for hours. She has pushed that shopping cart all over the house. I will get a video of her pushing the cart this week and post it for you to see. Who would have guessed? A shopping cart.

Welcome Owen

We have a new addition to our family this week. Mindy and Bobby had their new baby boy last Friday. Robert Owen Williams was born on September 11, 2009 weighing 5 ounds and 11 ounces. He was 3 1/2 weeks early but very healthy. We went to San Antonio yesterday to see the new baby. We met Dave and Tiffany for dinner at macaroni grill and then went to the hospital to visit. Everyone was excited to see the new baby!

Dinner with Family and Friends

Last night we met Mindy, Bobby, April, Sam and Justin at Canoli Joes Italian Restaurant. It was a nice little get together. The resturant was cool because it was all you can eat. We enjoyed visiting with each other. Mindy and April are both pregnant so it was nice talking to them about thier pregnancy. Mindy's baby is due October 7 and April's baby is due April 11.

Texas State Football Game

Every year my Dad gets season tickets to the Texas State Football Games. We took Ainsley last year, but I have to say that this year has been so much more fun. She is big enough now to wear a cheerleading outfit and she loves to watch the bobcat mascot, cheerleaders and the band. We have front row seats on the second deck, so she is able to walk back and forth between us. I was worried about the game being so late, but she really did well. In the video clip, you will see us watching fireworks with the Mitchell Family. Since it was the first game, HEB put on a firework show after the game. I am looking forward to the next game.
