Tricycle

Ainsley got a tricycle for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa. At first, she wasn't too sure about it, but now she seems to really like it. She doesn't know how to push the pedals yet, so we have been pushing her around. Now, when we take the dogs on a walk, she rides her tricycle instead of us pushing the stroller. She sure is getting big. She will be 2 soon. Notice: she still hasn't taken off the black sparkly shoes. They are starting to look really worn.

Snow Skiing

We went to Brenkenridge, Colorado! It was a blast! We went with Harry, Stephanie, and Tonya. The first day we got there, we went dog sledding. That was probably my favorite part. One person was the driver and the other person was the passenger. The tourguide rode in the snowmobile in front of us calling out commands. The second day, Tonya and I took ski lessons. I sure am happy we did. Snow skiing is a lot harder than it looks. It is not nearly as easy as water skiing. We skiied for 3 days. I finally started getting the hang of it the last day we were there. On the final day, we went snowmobilling. It was beautiful driving through the mountains. Oh - and I forgot to mention the sledding. We had so much fun sledding down the hills at night. I guess it is called sledding - we went down the hills on the orange disks that we were holding. It was a fun vacation that I will always remember.
