Ainsley's Birthday Party

Ainsley is turning 2 on April the 1st. I can't believe it has already been two years. We had Ainsley's Dora birthday party last weekend. I think everyone had a great time. Many of her friends from class, neighbors, and cousins came to help celebrate. We had a jumpy house, an easter egg hunt, a pinata and we decorated funny glasses. It was definitley more oriented to children than last year.

Crawfish Broil

Last weekend we went to a crawfish broil at the Sharp's Santa house (April and Sam's parents). There was crawfish, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn and delicious desserts. Ainsley had a great time as always. Mrs. Sharp let her wear a cute apron that says "Diva in Training." She also got to play in the kitchen with pans. Ainsley's cousins were there too - Lilly, Bryce and Owen. Ainsley likes playing with her cousins. As you can tell from Ainsley's mouth, there was fruit punch. She was trying to drink it from a glass instead of her sippy cup. She did pretty well until she spilt it on the floor - opps - luckily it wiped up easily.

Ainsley's Hair

I have been having so much fun fixing Ainsley's hair. I wasn't really fixing it for a while because she would pull it down the minute I would fix it. Now that it is longer - I am needing to pull it back to get her hair out of her eyes. Today's hairstyle is two pigtails.

Copy Cat

Ainsley has been copying EVERYTHING that we do. This morning, Josh was wearing his cowboy hat around the house, so Ainsley went and put hers on. We had fajitas on Friday night, and Ainsley saw us putting the meat and fixings into the tortilla. Then, she had to make her own fajita just like we were doing. Everytime we say something, she usually repeats it - like "SHHH Mommy is sleeping." Everyday, she is talking more and more. She will be two soon.
