Thanksgiving at MeeMaw's

We celebrated Thanksgiving at MeeMaw's house on Wednesday. The cousins are getting older now that they love playing together. As always, the food was delicious.

Congratulations Stewart and Lindsey!

Stewart and Lindsey are engaged! Stewart said that they plan to get married next November. We met them at Salt Lick for dinner on Monday night. Congratulations!

Happy Birthday MeeMaw

On Monday night we celebrated MeeMaw's (Josh's Mom) 60th birthday. We all met at a mexican food resturant in Austin. Happy birthday MeeMaw!

Thanksgiving at Ma's

We started off the Thanksgiving week by going to Baytown. It was a nice visit. On Saturday, we saw the Hotchkiss sid eof the family by having Thanksgiving at Ma's. In the picture below you will see Ainsley, Thomas, Allison, Macey and Slate. On Sunday, we saw Aunt Diane, Uncle Rocky, Grandaddy and Barbara. I am mad because I forgot to take pictures.

Big Girl Bed

My mom and I worked all day, but I think we finally got Ainsley's room under control again. Her closet was full of everything and anything that has to do with a baby. So, we sorted through it. While in the process, we decided that it was time for Ainsley to sleep in a big girl bed, so we put up her crib and made her a twin size bed with the furniture I had when I was a baby. When we finished, Ainsley wasn't sure what to think at first, but then she got really excited and started climbing on and off the bed. When we went to Target to get plastic containers for all of the stuff we went through, we let her pick out some new sheets for her bed - she picked Hello Kitty. I hope she sleeps good tonight and that we don't have any problems.

Trick or Treating

This year for Halloween we stayed in our neighborhood for trick or treating. It was nice seeing all of our neighbors. The little boy in the elephant outfit is Parker, our neighbor. Of course, Ainsley enjoyed the trick or treating part. She kept saying next house.

Wurstfest

This year we went to Wurstfest on Halloween afternoon. Stewart and Lindsey drove in from College Station - so that was a nice surprise. We all danced and ate. Ainsley got to ride the carousel, got her face painted and went trick or treating.

Lillian's Birthday Party

Daniel and Jana's little girl, Lilla, turned three years old last weekend. We helped celebrate it by going to her birthday party on Saturday. Ainsley had a good time eating birthday cake and wearing Lilla's new princess shoes around the house. Anyone who knows Ainsley well - knows that she has a shoe addiction.

Pumpkin Party

We decided to have a pumpkin party. The kids painted pumpkins while Vada and me carved pumpkins. Oliver and Ella came over to play with Ainsley. They also decorated cupcakes. We liked it so much that I think we will do it again next year.

Baking with Tonya

Tonya came over before our pumpkin part and she let Ainsley cook cupcakes with her. After the cupcakes were made, the kids at the pumpkin party decorated them.

Fun at the Park

One thing that we have been doing a lot of is going to the park. Ainsley loves to play and swing at the park. Since the afternoons have been so nice, I have been taking her. It is something nice that we can do together after school.
