Santa Claus Came

Santa Claus came to our house and brought Ainsley lots of presents. She got lots of clothes and toys but I think her favorite gift was the pony. We had fun watching her open presents.

Christmas with Pop

We had Christmas with Pop at Aunt Mindy and Uncle Bobby's house. We had lots of good food with presents from Pop. For those of you who don't know, Pop is Josh's dad. Pop surprised the family with a giant commercial meat grinder from Cabela's. He gave Josh a baby doll with a wagon and I got money that I put towards our new DVD player.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's house

We had a very busy Christmas week. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for fried oysters, boiled shrip and presents. I think we were all very surprised with our gifts. Ainsley's big gifts were a kitchen and a tricycle. Josh and I got a new TV for our living room. All of the gifts were very nice.

Christmas at MeeMaw's House

We went to MeeMaw's (Josh's Mom) house for Christmas last night. All of Josh's brothers and sister were there, so it was great having everyone together. Debbie fixed a lot of delicious food. Ther that e were 5 pies, turkey, ham, dressing and about 5 or 6 dips. Debbie gave everyone nice gifts too. I hope we do it again next year.

Decorating Cookies

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love doing Christmas things - listening to Christmas music, looking at Christmas lights, Christmas caroling at church, wrapping Christmas presents, sending out Christmas cards and decorating Christmas cookies. This last weekend my mom came over and we made and decorated Christmas cookies with Ainsley. I thought Ainsley my be too young to enjoy it, but she loved stiring the dough and using the SPRINKLES! Sprinkles are still all over my kitchen, but she had fun. I took a few pictures - check them out.

Christmas Party

On Sunday night, we went to the Sharp Family Christmas party in Bastrop. Most of Josh's family was there. It was kind of nice having us all together. We ate, sat in Santa's lap, made Christmas ornaments and went on a hay ride. My favorite part of the evening was putting the four cousins, Bryce, Lilly,Owen and Ainsley on Santa's lap. Check out the picture below. I wish I would have videoed it. All in all, I think everyone had a great time.

Christmas Lights

We decided to decorate our house for Christmas. Josh did a great job putting the lights out. Before we had Ainsley, Josh and I made the Winnie the Pooh Christmas characters. Hopefully our neighbors will enjoy our lights as much as we do.
